Peg Copp

Peg Copp, 90, longtime resident of Plains passed away November 14th at the Clark Fork Valley Hospital Nursing Home.

Peg (Margaret Eleanor Minemyer) was born July 21, 1923 in a shack up on Combest Creek to Morris King Minemyer and Stella Snook. She joined two sisters Carrie and Ruth. Her other siblings were Helen, Dorothy, Bob, John, Nick, Minnie, and Georgia. She married Robert Copp on August 15, 1942. She had two children Bobby and Jennie. She is survived by two sisters Dorothy Mathews of Keyes, OK and Georgia Larum of Lolo, MT, her daughter Jennie of Des Moines, WA, her grandchildren Robert III, Carmen, Kori and Travis, four great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Wanda Stice. Peg lived her whole life in Plains. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 23 at 1 p.m. at the Plains Cemetery. Reception to follow at The Church on the Move.
