Noxon football team gains experience on the field

NOXON – During their homecoming game, the Red Devil football team fought against Arlee, a class C team.

Despite their hard efforts, Noxon came up short of a win, losing the game 0 to 48.

During the battle, two players came to light for their standout performances: John Onofrey and BranDan Lockwood.

Onofrey had 20 carries for 99 yards and Lockwood completed two pass breakups, had an interception and a fumble recovery.

The Red Devils will go on to compete against Idle on October 4 in an away game.
