ST. REGIS – The Lady Tigers won two amazing victories against Noxon on both Thursday and Friday last week.

In both games the Lady Tigers won in three matches by an incredible margin, often leaving Noxon in single digits points while taking more than 20 themselves.

According to Coach Jennifer Pruitt, the team has become a very effective team. She said that the freshmen and the centers on the team have really been working hard.

“The girls are really starting to mesh together and get into the plays,” Pruitt said.

According to Pruitt, Gabby Moeller and Arianna Jones are the team’s strongest hitters with freshman Courtney Cheesman matching Gabby in blocks. Freshman center Madison Hill also received praise from Pruitt for her performance in Thursday’s game.

Pruitt said the team has changed their lineup and kept fresh players in the front. Their hard work and fresh energy levels led to two amazing, decisive victories.

Leading up to their next game against Two Eagle River on Thursday, Pruitt said the team will be working on improving their hitting and blocking coverage.
