Bluehawks prepare for homecoming game against Eureka

THOMPSON FALLS – The Bluehawks competed against Deer Lodge on Friday, September 20.

In the away game, Thompson Falls came up short of a win, losing the game 7 to 49.

Quarterback Greg Wadsworth threw for one touchdown in the first quarter of the game, while Tanner Laws ran the ball in for the points. Overall, Wadsworth threw 212 yards.

Senior Nate Norris led the team in yards rushing with 23. In all, the team had 55 yards rushing.

Sophomore Tanner Laws had 75 yards receiving followed by Trais Hoisington with 69.

The team secured 37 tackles in total during the game against Deer Lodge.

Although coming up short of a win, the young team had an opportunity to learn more on the field – helping to strengthen the team as a whole.

The Bluehawks will go on to play Eureka for the Homecoming game on Friday September 27 at 7 p.m.
