Open Gym at Plains

Open Gym Volleyball - Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:00 p.m. at the Plains High School gym. Court shoes required; adults only.

Plains Booster Club

Plains Booster Club meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the elementary music room off the gym lobby. Please call 396-3245 if you have questions.

Plains Lions Club

Plains Lions Club meets first and third Tuesdays at Heather’s Country Kitchen at 6 p.m. Community service minded individuals are invited to attend.

Bowl of Soup at the Free Store

Every Monday the Free Store in Hot Springs will be offering a bowl of soup from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Free Store is located on Orchard and 2nd.

Wild Horse Plains Back Country Horsemen meet

The Wild Horse Plains Back Country Horsemen meet at Plains High School on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. The first half hour is education and special speakers, then onto business. Visitors are welcome.

D.A.V. offers free rides

The Disabled American Veterans of Montana’s Volunteer Transportation Network is offering free van rides to and from VA scheduled appointments. Call 242-0217 for more information.

Serenity Group

The Pathway to Serenity Group meets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday and 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Clark Fork West Church at 75 Abba Lane.

TOPS 202 Meeting

Anyone interested in joining our group of about twenty is welcome. We meet each Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Harvest Community Church of God, 407 West 1st. We give guidelines for weight loss and current information about nutrition. Come join our friendly, accepting group or call 826-3564.

Sanders County Homeschool Co-op Easter play

The Sanders County Homeschool Co-op would like to invite the public to join them for a theatrical comedy about Easter. The play, entitled Easter in Cricket County, will take place on Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Alliance Church in Plains. Everyone is welcome to attend!

PHS Drama presents “Ladies sigh no more”

Plains High School Drama will be presenting “Ladies sigh no more” on April 4th and 5th at 7 p.m. The Friday April 4th senior night includes special performance of “a game.” Have you ever wondered what happened to the ladies of Shakespeare’s plays? Well it is time to find out. They are stuck in between life and death, trying to move on peacefully. What is the story of this Juliet girl and who is the mysterious man who has been coming around?

Community Market

The Community Market will be back in town on May 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sanders County Fairgrounds in Plains. It will continue every Saturday through September. For more information call 826-0555.

Free legal document clinic

The Area VI Agency on Aging and the Montana Legal Services Developer are sponsoring a free legal clinic on April 23rd for people age 60 and over. The clinic will be held at the Thompson Falls Senior Center and you must have an appointment to attend. Attorney and paralegals will be on site to complete a variety of legal documents, including simple wills, living wills, power of attorney, homestead declaration and beneficiary deeds. You will walk out with a fully completed document at the end of your appointment and there will be no charge.
