An excerpt from the Sanders County Sheriff’s report week of 7/27 - 8/2.

Miscellaneous:

July 27 at 1:47 a.m. at Madison. Reporting party advises they have been drugged.

July 27 at 5:02 a.m. at River Road. Reporting party advises they can hear a vehicle driving towards town over the bridge and it sounds like they’re speeding. Reporting party is concerned about innocent animals being struck.

July 27 at 9:22 a.m. at Woodland Street. Reporting party states window was broken out of vehicle sometime since she drove yesterday.

July 27 at 7:43 p.m. at Birdland Bay. Reporting party advises that there are two naked swimmers on the south side of Birdland Bay Bridge.

July 28 at 11:52 a.m. at Big Beaver Creek Road. Reporting party states someone picked up her brother’s wallet from his home in Trout Creek and took it to him in the rest home in Hot Springs, but by the time the wallet got to him, the cash was missing.

July 28 at 3:16 p.m. at Combest Creek Road. Reporting party in the lobby states she was out running on Friday, July 25 at approximately 5:15 a.m. and she was approached by an SUV with a man stating he was a deputy. The reporting party felt uncomfortable and was not too cooperative because she had done nothing wrong and the man put the reporting party in handcuffs.

July 29 at 1:55 p.m. at Hot Springs Mercantile. Report of a  male with golf club hitting balls into residence.

July 30 at 1:54 a.m. at East Fourth Avenue. Arrest(s) made: Report of two males fighting on the corner of Church and 4th Street.

July 30 at 2:57 p.m. at Highway 200. Reporting party states a possible runaway.

July 30 at 9:28 p.m. at First Avenue North. Fireworks complaint coming from the north end of Hot Springs.

July 31 at 1:43 a.m. at River Road East. Arrest(s) made: Report of male and female arguing. Male threatened to kill female’s family.

August 1 at 1:58 a.m. at Thompson River Road. Reporting party states a female is trying to stop logging trucks from going by her property.

August 1 at 6:45 p.m. at Central Avenue. Reporting party reports his daughter’s mother kidnapped her today while he was at the doctor.

August 2 at 8:55 a.m. at Washington Street. Reporting party states her stepfather has been missing a couple of weeks and has medical issues.

August 2 at 2:15 p.m. at River Road West. Reporting party states someone took out 160 feet of his fencing.

Theft:

July 27 at 2:36 a.m. at Town Pump in Plains. Report of a stolen rear license plate.

July 27 at 11:03 a.m. at Wild Coyote. Report of a banjo and case being stolen.
