Lady Red Devils take on hefty competition
NOXON – The Lady Red Devils continue to grow and come together as a team with each and every game they play.
This week the ladies did just that as they faced off against Charlo and St. Regis. Both games resulted in a loss but the young girls were able to gain more experience, which is their ultimate goal for the season.
In their game against Charlo on Saturday February 1, the ladies lost 12-55. With a slow start to the quarter, the girls put up two points in the first. As they continued in the game, their opponents outscored them. The game gave the Lady Red Devils an opportunity to learn more about the importance of putting a solid game together.
Kamber Torti scored three points, while Asiah Jensen, Zoey Osborne, Katie Chandler and Megan Beyer scored two points each. Kristen Webley added in a free throw for the team’s total.
As the ladies continued on to St. Regis, they once again come up short but were able to put a lot more points on the scoreboard.
