The second quarter saw Charlo begin to catch up. The first half ended with a score of 32 to 25.

As the second half began, the Bobcats came out strong and took an even stronger lead. By the time the buzzer sounded, the Bobcats had added another 21 points. The third quarter gave Superior a 14-point lead against Charlo.

In the final quarter, the team crushed the opposition’s offense. The final score was 76 to 44.

On Saturday, Feb. 8, the Bobcats played against Two Eagle River and came away with a 36 point victory.

The first quarter was close. Both teams made over 10 baskets and Superior was ahead by only five points by the end.

The second quarter was equally close as the teams continued to stay within a few points of each other. The first half ended with a score of 28 to 21.

After the halftime break, the Bobcats came out with a full force defense. The team pushed the Eagles back and kept them from sinking baskets as they nearly doubled their points in the third quarter.

The final quarter was just as good. While Two Eagle River was able to bring in more points, the Bobcats were able to break through their defense like it was not even there. The game ended with a final score of 76 to 40.
