A Lady in the Woods

MINERAL COUNTY - A “Lady in the Woods” is the name of the quilt that the Cabin Fever Quilters Guild will be raffling off at the Mineral County Fair August 2, 2014. This quilt has 100 blocks that consist of over 5,200 pieces. The money raised from this raffle will be given to a local non-profit organization.

If you know of a local non-profit organization that would like to be a recipient of these funds please have them contact by phone Sharon Patterson (649-2658) and an application will be forwarded to you. The application deadline is March 3, 2014.

Mineral County will be celebrating its 100 birthday in August and the “Lady in the Woods” quilt with its 100 blocks will help commemorate this special occasion. The funds raised from this raffle and previous raffles have helped many Mineral County non-profit organizations with their special projects.

This raffle is the guild’s way of saying “Thank you” to Mineral County for all the support that you give to the guild and all the non-profit organizations within the county.
