Plains library gets make-over

PLAINS – The Plains Public Library is currently closed for over-due renovations.

The 1970s psychedelic carpet is being replaced at last. Other changes are being made as well but Carrie Terrell wants those to be a surprise.

“Everyone will just have to come and see what is new,” she said.

Terrell cannot wait for the newly renovated library to be revealed.

“We are real excited about this,” she said. “It is going to be really fun.”

The new Plains Public Library will open January 21.
