NOXON – The Lady Red Devils met with some tough competition this week as they fought hard against powerhouses Superior and Eureka.

Friday night’s games resulted in a loss, with a final score of 27 to 65. Although the team is starting to come together as a team, the girls have yet to figure out their dynamic.

Jenna Langdon scored 7 points, Cory Brodmerkle and Kamber Torti had 6 points apiece while Zoey Osborne brought in four.

Asiah Jensen added three points to the total while Katie Chandler threw in a free throw.

In the game against Eureka on Saturday night, Noxon’s home court was tore up as the two teams battled for a win.

Noxon was unable to compete with Eureka’s strength and the team fell 11 to 59.

Osborne and Langdon each had three points, while Torti and Brodmerkle each brought in two. Chandler once again added a free throw to the team’s total.

The ladies are scheduled to compete against Two Eagle River on Thursday in a home game and will hit the road on Saturday to play Troy. The ladies will also have a Tuesday night game against St. Regis on January 28.
