NOXON – The Bull River Clinic will soon be open to the public after over a year of preparation. According to a press release, Bonner General Hospital announced the clinic’s open house celebration would take place on Thursday, February 6 from noon to 2 p.m.

The clinic will operate on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday starting on February 10. Operating hours of the clinic will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Bull River Clinic used to be operated by Clark Fork Valley Hospital but was temporarily closed down on June 29, 2012 until Bonner General Hospital was able to take over.

The clinic aims to serve the communities of Noxon, Heron, western Montana and eastern Idaho.

According to Terri Fortner, community development and foundation director, there will be one physician assistant, a clinic nurse and one assistant on board.

“We are excited for this opportunity to provide medical services in these communities,” said Sheryl Rickard Bonner General Hospital CEO at the time Bonner took over the clinic. “Access to high-quality care is important for rural areas and Bonner General is proud to offer that to the patients of Bull River Family Medicine.”

Any potential patients should call 847-2100 to schedule an appointment.
