Excerpt from the Sanders County Sheriff’s Report week of 6/22 to 6/28.

Animal:

June 25 at 9:32 p.m. at West Side Snider Gulch. Report of a possible moose poaching. Three male subjects used cable to pull what looks like a moose to a blue/white older model Chevy truck.

June 27 at 6:01 p.m. at A Street. Reporting party states neighbor just sicked her dog on his cat. Neighbor was in his own yard telling Milo, the pit/lab cross to get her cats.

Assault:

June 23 at 2:21 p.m. at Charlot Street South. Reporting party states his neighbor assaulted him and would like officer contact.

Miscellaneous:

June 22 at 1:57 a.m. at South 4th Avenue. Reporting party advises there’s a loud party of six adults with a fire burning. The group is drinking and the reporting party can smell marijuana.

June 22 at 1:01 p.m. at Triangle Pond. Reporting party states he has been at the Triangle Park with family for a barbecue for the last couple hours and a female showed up and is approximately 200 feet away from him at this time. He has a restraining order against her.

June 22 at 6:12 p.m. at Deemer Creek Road. Arrest(s) made: Reporting party advises that neighbor is requesting a deputy for a female at his residence. He advises the female is not mentally stable and that she lives in a camper.  

June 23 at 5:06 p.m. on Highway 135 at approximately between mile marker 13 to 16. Report of a yellow kayak on the river upside down. It appears no body is around.

June 24 at 12:27 a.m. at Hubbard Street. Reporting party advises her neighbor just called to advise her that she saw a male leaving reporting party’s car port. No one should be there.

June 24 at 11:12 p.m. at Mary Kay Road. Reporting party advises she has a court order out of Missoula County. She states her soon-to-be ex husband is not to be within 1500 feet from her and that he and his brother just showed up at her parent’s residence.

June 24 at 12:33 p.m. at Harker Road. Reporting party states 15 fishing poles, two tackle boxes and two antique chairs were taken from his residence.

June 24 at 5:46 p.m. at First Street. Reporting party advises that her boyfriend took a 2x4 to her vehicle.

June 24 at 7:44 p.m. at Clark Creek Loop Road. Reporting party requests removal of persons from his property. He is unable to remove them himself.

June 25 at 3:38 p.m. at Meadowlark Ridge Lane. Reporting party states a female showed up to residence acting suspicious.

June 25 at 6:04 p.m. at Garber Street. Reporting party advises that a female subject continues to harass him.

June 25 at 6:25 p.m. at Thompson Falls Pool. Reporting party advises that they observed juvenile males egg-ing on another younger juvenile into a physical altercation.

June 25 at 11:07 p.m. at Greenwood. Reporting party heard three shots fired from a large caliber weapon. Reporting party unsure where exactly it came from but would like an officer to check it out.

June 26 at 12:57 a.m. Reporting party states that her boyfriend assaulted her. There is a restraining order.

June 27 at 1:49 p.m. at Jenkins Avenue. Stalking: Reporting party states her ex just drove by her residence.

June 27 at 11:18 p.m. at Sloans Bridge. Reporting party heard there was going to be a large underage drinking/drug party at the swing near Sloans bridge. There will also be a motor home there. Reporting party’s 17 year old daughter is supposed to be there and she would like her caught. She states her daughter has been partying in Thompson Falls with friends up Prospect and Deep Creek a lot lately.

Run away:

June 25 at 11:40 p.m. at Bear Foot Lane. Reporting a 16 year old female runaway discovered missing just before 10 p.m.

Theft:

June 22 at 11:05 a.m. at A Street. Report of a stolen cell phone. Reporting party believes a male subject that just left her yard sale took it.

June 22 at 4:26 p.m. at Sanders County Fairgrounds. Reporting party states there was a wedding at the fairgrounds last night and they all just discovered all the cards containing money were stolen from the card box. Reporting party has a good idea of who the suspect was.

June 23 at 8:12 p.m. at Pename Street. Reporting party advises that a vehicle was taken from the yard.

June 27 at 10:34 p.m. at Lower River Road. Theft of a red porter cable pancake air compressor model.
