Chautauqua gets read to take over Hot Springs

| July 23, 2014 2:27 PM

HOT SPRINGS - The new old time Chautauqua is three days of fun for the entire family. The event starts on Sunday, July 27 and runs through Tuesday, July 29.

It’s a continuous event, a gathering of and for people of all ages that combines live entertainment, educational workshops, and crafts — with people from all over the Pacific Northwest.

The big vaudeville variety show is Tuesday, July 29 — and will include juggling, magic, music, live trapeze, dancing, storytellers, and poets in what will be an evening of fun and merriment.

There will be a parade, vendors, special workshops and community shows —as widely acclaimed performers such as the Flying Karamozov Brothers join the local community in Hot Springs.

The new, old time Chautauqua is something you don’t want to miss. Come join us for this three-day event.

Most events are free or pass -the -hat, and there’s even some camping available.

The new old time Chautauqua returns to Hot Springs after visiting the town several years ago.
