Music for Mom returns to Sanders County

| May 9, 2014 3:54 PM

THOMPSON FALLS - Cancer Network of Sanders County is proud to announce that the “Music For Mom” event is back again this year. The event will be held at the Rex Theater in Thompson Falls, May 10 from 7 – 9 pm. All proceeds from the show will benefit the cancer network.

Last year, everyone was more than generous and the event served as a major fundraiser for CNSC. The cancer network stated they were looking forward to continuing this trend.

All it takes to enter is a cash donation to CNSC.

“Every dollar helps us maintain our current level of a gift to your neighbors who are currently battling cancer,” CNSC President Kathy Miller said.

As a result of this event and others as well as individual anonymous donations, the organization was able to increase the amount of their annual gift to $600. “We know that doesn’t go very far with the incredible expenses people incur, but it is a loving gift that we hope helps,” Miller said.

This year, music will be provided by: Accounted For, High Strung, Uku-Ladies, and Sons of the Biscuits. Dave Oliver will once again be Master of Ceremonies. “You will be royally entertained by some of the best music in the county,” Miller said.”Come join us for an evening of wonderful entertainment. Be sure to bring Mom along for a wonderful evening of entertainment in her honor.”

If you have any questions about the evening, please call Kathy Miller at 826-4278.
