ATTENTION MINERAL COUNTY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: If your group or organization has the 501c 3 status, we would very much like to welcome you to the chamber with a free membership. You receive all the bennies of businesses and one of the main reasons to belong to the chamber is the news we share with one another. Networking in this size of an area is a challenge but we get ‘er done and would like you to share your information with us, as well. Summer is here and our visitors are arriving. Obviously, we want them to enjoy themselves in Mineral County; enough to spend an extra day or so. Some of our best ambassadors are our front line employees: waitresses, bar tenders, sales clerks, cashiers, etc. The first, and most of the time, the only person a visitor will encounter. On behalf of 4,000 residents that live here, we ask you to be as friendly and informative as you can with them and I’ll tell you why: If they start a conversation asking what there is to do or where to see a waterfall or if you know of a fishing guide or where to go horseback riding or mountain biking or anything, and they take a liking to you, they just might stay longer.
