ST. REGIS – The St. Regis Lady Tigers bounced back this week taking a match in straight sets against the Lady Savage Heat from Hot Springs in Sanders County.

Several players for St. Regis had big games for the team which swept their opponents 25-16, 25-14 and 25-19. Gabby Moeller led the team with 20 of their 39 kills. Madi Hill contributed with 19 assists.

Moeller also had two blocks and six aces. Anna Sanford wasn’t about to let her teammates steal all the glory so she aced the Lady Savage Heat three times.

Later on in the week, St. Regis would fall to another Sanders County team, this one from Noxon in a match that went the distance.

Arlee won the match, three games to two. St. Regis rallied after dropping the first two games but couldn’t hold off the offense of Noxon.

Moeller had another 17 kills, two blocks and six aces. Patience Jones had a whopping 25 digs on defense while Madison Hill contributed 15 assists. Brittany Nelson also had six aces in the match.

The Lady Tigers will next face Arlee on the road on Saturday, Oct. 11.
