NOXON – The Lady Savage Heat Volleyball team continued their set of away games with a match against Noxon last weekend.

Coming off last week’s victory over Two Eagle River the Hot Springs team was unable to defeat the Noxon Lady Red Devils in their matchup on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The Savage Heat were defeated by Noxon in three sets.

Hot Springs dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-18 and 25-19.

The final set was a closer frame and the Savage Heat fought hard to extend the match to a fourth set.

However, Noxon was able to withstand a Hot Springs rally carrying the final set and the match by a score of 25-3.

Josey Carr had a big day for the Lady Savage Heat putting up three kills and two aces during the away match.

Carr also added seven assists during the three sets.

As a team Hot Springs compiled 13 total kills, five blocks, 60 digs, nine assists and eight aces.
