MINERAL COUNTY - The young co-op Mineral County tennis team may be young but they are showing signs of significant improvement in a short amount of time according to coach Angie Hopwood. The relatively inexperienced team is starting to play with their heads according to their coach and that she said indicated a lot of promise in her eyes.

“We have spent the season trying to improve on our consistency,” Hopwood said. “We also want to decrease our errors and in that regard, I would say they are doing fantastic. The last  few games we’ve played has been some beautiful tennis. We are a young team but for as young as they are, they play really well. We have working on playing smart tennis. We want to fccus on consistency and work on how smart we can get.”

The team has a very busy week ahead of them. Thet will play Troy and Phillipsburg before facing Fort benton on Friday on their home courts.
