Lookout Pass opened Thanksgiving Day, and stayed open until the Nov. 29. They will open up again on December 4 through the 6, with snow forecast starting Wednesday. As of Nov. 29, there was 6” at the base and 14” at the summit.

There’s top to bottom skiing off Chair 1 and Chair 4, which is the beginners lift. A minimum of 10 runs will be open and reduced ticket rates will be in effect, according to their website.

Lookout will be open over the Christmas break seven days a week, until January 4. Free snow bus service will be available starting January 9th until February 13. The bus stops at Superior School at 8:30 a.m. (MST) and St. Regis School at 8:45 a.m. (MST). Lookout Ski Area is located 60 minutes from Alberton at Exit 0 on the Montana, Idaho border.
