THOMPSON FALLS – The Thompson Falls schools brought holiday cheer to the community last week as they performed their annual Christmas concert.

The Rex Theater was packed with people of all ages. While conditions were tight, everyone had a seat. Adam Craw, music teacher at Thompson Falls, estimated there were approximately 20 people in attendance.

“It was the thing to be at [that] night,” he said.

At the end, the audience was invited to join in and sing a series of carols with the choir. Craw felt this part of the program went very well with lots of people participating.

He felt it was one of the better concerts they had put on. The students performed a mix of Christmas music and more traditional pieces.

“Christmas music is what it is a lot of times, so maybe it isn’t as challenging,” He said.

The kids were excited and happy with how everything went. Craw recalled, the next day, a number of them came up to him and told him about their experiences and how much fun they had.
