Connie H. Blanchard
Polson – Connie H. Blanchard – Baird, age 76, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her residence in Polson. She was born on May 24, 1939 in Plains, Montana the daughter of Harvey and Jean (Howery) Mathias.
She was raised in Paradise, Montana where she attended school until the 8th grade when she went to Plains and attended and graduated from Plains High School.
She was married to Bob Blanchard and two sons were born to this union. She later married Len Baird. She loved to garden and her flower garden was a special joy to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Len Baird, her parents and her sister Madge.
She is survived by her two sons, Ron Blanchard and his wife Leslie of Las Vegas, NV; and Randy Blanchard of Polson, MT; two grandchildren, Catie Blanchard of Denver, CO; and Ryan Blanchard of San Antonio, TX; one step-grandson, Daniel Kniffin of Cathedral City, CA and one step-great-grand-daughter, Jenysa; one brother Denny Mathias of Spokane, WA and one sister Kay Tompkins of Plains, MT and numerous nieces and nephews.
