LOOKOUT PASS - Over a thirty day period, Superior Elementary fifth and sixth grade had an opportunity to sell raffle tickets for a ski trip to Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border.

The morning of January ninth was the big day. The fifth and sixth grade loaded on a bus to participate in ski P.E.   Each student took a one hour lesson depending on their ability. All students had the choice of skiing or snowboarding. The weather at Lookout Pass that day was a little cold but sunny too.

Danner Haskins, a sixth grade student is going to tell us a little about the slopes at Lookout Pass. “The slopes were icy but the groomed areas were a nice place to ski. I enjoyed participating in the ski trip because I like to ski and I would like to go as much as I can.”
