Obituary; Myranda DeWinter Kuhl

| January 14, 2015 4:09 PM

Myranda DeWinter Kuhl, age 19, of Superior, Montana, died in the early hours of January 13th, 2015, at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado with her family by her side.

Services will be held at 11:00, Saturday January 17th at St Mary's Catholic Church in Superior.  There will be a slide show of Myranda's life and an open microphone for memories to share.  A funeral Mass and a luncheon will follow downstairs.

Myranda DeWinter Kuhl was born March 9th, 1995 to her birth family joining older brother Daylon Kuhl.  Just a short while later her younger brother Jordan DeWinter joined the family.  In January 2001 she and older brother Daylon were lovingly welcomed into the Kuhl family where she joined her parents Ken and Cathy and older siblings, Jessica, Brooke and Seth in Superior, Montana.

Myranda attended Superior Elementary and High school where she excelled at photography, basketball, volleyball, and tennis to name a few.  She graduated in 2012 and attended the University of Montana Dillon before moving to Billings to continue to work.   She was able to work in a job she loved; sharing her talent and vivacious personality with clients at the photography studio at JC Penny’s.

Myranda enjoyed many things in life; animals (especially penguins!), sports, reading and most often helping others and spending time with loved ones.

She was often the first one to volunteer for anything whether it be working an extra shift, starting and volunteering with 4-H Relay for Life Team, or helping out a friend.  She hoped to one day teach and would have been a natural as she enjoyed children more than anything.

She was a loving Aunt to Devin, Lauren, Kayleigh, Kade and especially Sidney who she adored.  Myranda was an exceptional Aunt, always having time to do silly things; such as painting nails, reading books, feeding goats or just hanging out.  She will be greatly missed.

Myranda is survived by her parents, Ken and Cathy Kuhl of Superior, siblings; Daylon Kuhl of Missoula, Jordan DeWinter of Canada, Derek Dexter of Washington, Seth Kuhl (Carissa) of Superior, Brooke Kuhl of Missoula and Jessica Van Cleaf (William) of Maryland.  Grandparents, Brian and Carol DeWinter of Canada and Marge Castles of Superior; nephews & nieces; Devin, Kade, Lauren, Kayleigh and Sidney as well as many extended family members (from all of her family) and friends, both young and old.

Myranda is proceeded by her birth father as well as grandparents Thomas Castles and Elmer and Sue Kuhl.
