Obituary; Wanda Sverdsten Rickett

Wanda Sverdsten Rickett died June 24th 2015 of natural causes in Coeur d Alene, ID.

She was 75 years old.  Wanda was born January 2nd 1940 in Silverton ID.

She was raised on a farm in Cataldo, ID and graduated Kellogg High School.  She married Dale Sverdsten October 3 1958, in Pinehurst ID.  They lived in North Idaho and Montana.

She and Joe Rickett married September 1994 in Superior MT.  

Wanda and Joe lived in Montana until Joe’s death in 2012.  She moved to Coeur d’Alene in October of 2013.

Wanda enjoyed many fishing trips, camping, road trips to anywhere, short or long, sewing, crocheting, she also made lovely baskets.  

She enjoyed socializing, playing cards, and visiting.  Wanda had strong opinions on various matters and was inclined to share them.  

At times her language could be quite colorful, and most who knew her are familiar with her favorite quips, which were also colorful.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Ada Reinhofer, her first husband Dale Sverdsten and second husband Joe Rickett.  Survivors include Nina Sverdsten, Missoula MT. Mark Sverdsten, Cataldo ID. Rika Botzet, Missoula, MT. Eric Sverdsten (Crystal) Nampa, ID.  Grandchildren Madison and Ryan Botzet, Missoula, MT and Justice Booth, Nampa ID. Janine Rickett (Larry) Lewiston, ID and Donald Rickett, (Karen) Superior MT. Siblings Larry Reinhofer, (Wendy) Cataldo ID. Julie Riley, Ogden, UT. John Reinhofer, (Terri) East Wenatchee, WA. and Sue Jones (Kevin) Amelia Island, FL.

A memorial lunch will be August 22 2015 at the Rose Lake School, Rose Lake ID
