Regarding safe and accurate food labeling

Dear Mr. Zinke,

Regarding: Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act of 2015

So we know exactly what you “believe” about transparency in government which you constantly espouse, will you please explain why you voted to remove information about GMO and other substances from food products that enter into or is produced in this Republic of the United States?

Why do you think we, the CONSUMERS of said food products, do not have a right to know of what it is made, or what chemical substances or DNA alterations have been added - to otherwise simple foods, like tomatoes and lettuce and rice, etc?

I look forward to your explanation. Please do not give platitudes about “free enterprise”, TPA, TTIP, NAFTA or any other UN-driven attempt to subjugate us to an international cabal of those who think they “know what is best” for us.
