Obituary; Tarrance Garde McClary

Tarrance Garde McClary, age 77, died peacefully in his sleep on May 19th, 2015, at home in Peoria,AZ.  

Terry is survived by his children, Valerie McClary of Winter Garden, FL; Marvella “Sparky” Lockbaum of Osburn, ID; Leila Dor’e Cosner of Camp Hill, PA;  Terrance “T.G.” McClary of Peoria, AZ; their mother Marcella Lee of Ronan, MT; Ronald Rorvik of Ronan, MT; 8 grandchildren;  4 great grandchildren and his sister Meredith Dolson of Hot Springs, MT. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Leila McClary of Niarada, MT; his sister Llanna Morrow Downin of Columbus, OH; and Verna Rovik of MT.  

He was born on Nov 4th, 1937 in Kalispell, MT, to parents Kenneth Glen McClary and Leila Helen McClary. Mr. McClary served his country as a well respected 82nd Airborne Division soldier.(Green Beret).

Terry was a great family man and a loving father. He was a social, active man for the majority of his life. “Big Terry” loved hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  His family and friends will always remember him as a hard working, generous, outgoing, funny and loving person.   

The burial is scheduled for Friday July 10th, 2015 at Murray Memorial Cemetery in Lone Pine, MT. with a reception to follow at Lone Pine Hall. Estimated time will be 10:30 a.m.  Rev. George Cosner will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tarrance’s life.
