MINERAL COUNTY - Stakeholders representing a wide array of Mineral County groups and communities took a tour last week of the Fish Creek Wildlife Management Area hosted by representatives of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks department.

FWP Wildlife Biologist Liz Bradley said the tour was a way to illustrate to members of the public the issues surrounding management of the area.

“This is the first step in our planning process in writing a final management plan,” Bradley said. “We want to interact with the public get some feedback and ideas about different issues and how people want the land managed.”
