Hot Springs and Noxon go to Polson

POLSON - Thursday, Noxon and Hot Springs track traveled to Polson for the 14-C track meet.

The Hot Springs Savage Heat took second overall with 109 points and they took third in the 400 relay. Trevor Paro won two gold, winning the triple jump at 41-4 and the long jump at 20-2.5.

In the 100 meter race Anthony Byrns took second. In the 200 he took first. Byrns then took second in the 400.

Tanner Hoff took second in javelin, and third in the high jump and shot put.

The Hot Springs Lady Savage Heat took seventh place scoring 1 point.

The Noxon Red Devils placed fourth with 60 points and took third in the 1,600 relay.

Bradey Wilson scored third in the 400-1 and took first in the 800-1. He then took second in the 1,600-1.

Austin Johnson took third in the 3200-1.

The Noxon Lady Red Devils team scored 34 points, which left them in fourth place.

In the 100 hurdles, Kristen Webley took third.

Coach Vicky Nytes of Hot Springs said, “Im very very proud of both teams.” She then mentioned Nate Gray and Tanner Hoff for their achievements for moving ahead to divisionals.

Coach Nytes then said that they were ready for their next meet and felt good about the teams efforts.

The next neet will be a Western Divisional at Dornblaser, May 15th and 16th.
