A sense of community exists in Plains

I’m writing this letter because of those who attended the recent showing of the movie, “War Room,” at the Llano Theater were surprised to find out that a person or persons had paid for the special showing and so were treated to a wonderful movie without charge.

We usually see letters to the editor to gripe or some or try to persuade others to share a political position, but I wanted to acknowledge this act of kindness to the community. It is acts like these as well as this type of attitude that draw people to this area. So, paying it forward, I’m glad to live in an area where people sincerely care about one another and act accordingly.
