Jerry George Shinnick

Jerry George Shinnick – 90 years of age from Paradise, MT. Jerry peacefully passed away, while surrounded by loved ones, from natural causes on October 30th 2015 at the Long Term Care Center of Plains, MT. 

Jerry was born April 25th, 1925 in Missoula, MT. Jerry married the love of his life Bernice in 1944. He enjoyed many interests in his life, mostly his music, just a picking and playing his many musical instruments. He was a jokester, always had a grin and loved playing and teasing with his numerous Grandchildren and everyone who entered the door to his house. He loved the outdoors and being with his Wife, family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his oldest and youngest sister; his son Claude Shinnick (Susan); his daughters Julie Novakovitch (Gary); Jeannette King (Gail); Thirteen Grand Children and numerous Great Grand Children; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife (Bernice); Son (George-Jerry) and other family members.  

There will be no graveside services per Jerrys wishes as cremation has taken place. A private family memorial is planned for a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset Hills Funeral Home.
