Alberton family's home destroyed by fire

ALBERTON - The Frenchtown Fire Department responded to a call received at 1 a.m. on Friday, October 16 for a house fire in Alberton. They arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. 

According to Frenchtown Fire Department spokesman, Mel Holtz, sixteen fire fighters responded and managed to put the fire out, extinguishing the blaze by 6 a.m. 

The homeowners, Adam and Stacy Cole, have two small children and two dogs.  Everyone escaped without injury, however the home was completely destroyed.  

There will be a fundraiser for the Cole family on Sunday, October 25th at 3 pm at the River Edge Resort in Alberton. There is also a GoFundMe.com campaign set up for the family.
