We already have lots of experience relying on NOAA and other weather prognosticators regarding “percent chance of rain” “models”...

Today’s update on the fire begun 22 September on the south side of Clark Mountain, as it still burns, now having at least 8 plumes on the north side, ostensibly outside the “prescription” bought and paid for by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

I try to tone down my concern - or as some might call it, “rhetoric”. But come on! Enough of this government-by-exception to the rules governing wildfires and arson! When the wind picks up tonight, will prayer be the only hope for those living down-slope?

“Every fire. Dead out” ???
