HOT SPRINGS - It was a Friday night full of festivities at Hot Springs High School. The evening started out recognizing the 4 seniors on the football team and their parents: Jameson Morigeau, Sam Hoff, Jack Dolson, and Zack Osbourne.

The Savage Heat exploded out of the blocks against the Lincoln Lynx and at the end of the 1st half, Hot Springs was up 54-0 with 5 touchdowns by Trevor Paro (total of 86 rushing yards), 3 by Kane Lawson, 1 by Jack Dolson, followed up a touchdown by Blaine Carr.

At half-time the fun continued and the Homecoming royalty was introduced. Crowned Homecoming King was freshman Tyler Carr and the Homecoming queen, also from the freshman class, was Karly Lawson.

The second half started with another bang and touchdowns were added by Jameson Morigeau, Tyler Neal, and Tyler Carr. It was a great night for quarterback Sam Hoff who completed 5 for 5 passes for a total of 88 yards.

The defensive effort was led by Zach Osbourne with 5 sacks. The final score was 86-6, keeping their record perfect at 8-0, catapulting Hot Springs into the 1st round of the play-offs.

They will host Roy/Winifred on Friday, October 31st at 7:00pm, who presumably will have a very scary Halloween.
