HOT SPRINGS - The Saturday night game between the Hot Springs Lady Savage Heat and the Superior Lady Bobcats was a quick match that resulted with Superior winning in three sets.

The Bobcats quickly jumped ahead in the first set. Hot Springs tried to keep up with Superior as they racked up point after point. By the middle of the match, the Bobcats trailed the Heat, 15-5. At 19-6, Superior, a timeout was called by Hot Springs. The Heat were able to gain a couple of points by the end of the set, but it was too late, and the Bobcats, won the set, 25-12.

In the second set, Hot Springs trailed less behind Superior than in the first set. Fighting hard, the Heat stayed within four or six points of catching up with the Bobcats. In the end. Superior kicked it into high gear and widened the gap and won, 25-16.

The third set played out very much like the first and second sets, however near the end, the Heat put up a valiant last stand. The Bobcats led the way, 22-7 and just when it looked like they would wrap things up, the Heat racked up enough points to finish with a smaller point gap, at 25-15.
