Plains High School Cross Country had a great day at the State Meet.

Our single male runner, Alan Ihms, turned in a very strong performance finishing with a time of 21:17. Alan’s time was very impressive as he was recovering from an injury the previous week.

The PHS Girls team took 3rd place in Class C. 2 of our runners made All State, finishing in the top 15. Kimberly Earhart finished 4th overall with a time of 19:09. Demi Horton finished shortly after in 7th place with a time of 19:38.

Shannon Dimond also had strong perfomance and season best time of 23:49. Grace Gamboa, a first time cross country runner, met her goal and finished at 35:16.
