Hike On

Hiking for Health, a program with the Mineral Community Hospital is hosting hikes in Mineral County with local hiker and historian, Jim Cyr. Below are upcoming summer hikes:

—Aug. 11, drive to State Line Rd. from Little Joe to Rainey Creek Rd. stopping to hike Ward Peak

—Aug. 13, Hoodoo Pass to Heart Lake

—Aug. 20, Freezeout Pass

—Aug. 23, Heart Lake Loop

Shakespeare, Park-style

The Mineral County Performing Arts Council will host Shakespeare in the Park at 6 p.m. on August 16 at the fairgrounds in Superior.

Mobile Vet

The Mobile Vet Center will be at the Mineral Community Hospital on Mondays from 10 to 3 pm. There will also be a Veterans Service Officer from the Montana Veterans Affairs Division to help veterans navigate through the Montana VA Health Care Program on Monday, August 29.

Best-selling author Susan Wiggs will be coming to the Mineral County Public Library on Saturday, August 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. Information at 822-3563.
