Vet center

The Mobile Vet Center will be at the Mineral Community Hospital on Mondays from 10 to 3 pm. There will also be a Veterans Service Officer from the Montana Veterans Affairs Division to help veterans navigate through the Montana VA Health Care Program on Monday, August 29.

Author visit

Best-selling author Susan Wiggs will be coming to the Mineral County Public Library on Saturday, August 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. Information at 822-3563.

Ham radio class

A free amateur radio (ham) license class will be offered Sept. 6-28 at the Superior Fire Station. Contact Paul Shuey for more information at pshuey@bresnan.net

Great Burn Study

The Great Burn Study Group is holding their last backcountry stewardship expedition of the summer on August 26-28. Hiking on the Stateline trail above Heart Lake, moderate difficulty, 20 miles. Information at greatburnstudygroup.org
