OBITUARY
Morris King Minemyer, a life-long resident of Plains, Montana—went home to be with the Lord, on August 7, 2016 at the age of 62 at Clark Fork Valley Hospital.
Morris was born in Hot Springs, Montana on March 3, 1954 to John Minemyer and Nadine Cyr, who are both deceased. He was lovingly cared for by his two special Aunts; Peg Copp and Carrie Scott and also grandmother Stella Johnson. He went to school in Thompson Falls, MT and he lived his adult life in Plains, MT. He was a father of two sons, Will Minemyer and Rick Clarke who gave him eight grandchildren.
He held many jobs in his life and enjoyed gardening and tinkering on projects. He loved to wheel and deal and bartering was part of his daily life, and of course he always got the best deals.
He got to live his dream being a Christian biker and loved riding his Harley, it gave him the freedom he longed for. You always knew his vehicle by the eagle emblem or his favorite saying “80 on Ice.” His two cats were his constant companions. Morris was the most gentle and kindest man and would even give you the shirt off his back. Maybe that is why he was blessed to have many friends who loved him.
Morris is survived by his two sons, Will Minemyer and Rick Clarke: two loving sisters, who says he was the best brother ever, Marilyn (Bill) Wheeler and Kathy Morris and one brother, Robin Minemyer. Stepmother, Judy Minemyer of Thompson Falls, MT: Aunts, Kay Tompkins, Dorothy Mathews, Lou Minemyer, Georgia (Henry) Larum. Also eight grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 25, 2016 at the Church on the Move in Plains, MT on 300 Central Ave. Graveside service and luncheon will follow after service.
