Gerald Lloyd Glade passed away Nov. 9, 2016, at the age of 85 in Plains, Montana.

Born May 6, 1931, to parents from Fort Laramie, Wyoming, he was preceded in death by wife, Marilyn, and son, Cameron. Together they have five children, Lloyd Glade, Jennifer Wagner, Jill Spotts, Jody Glade and Paige Houston; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Gerald retired as a lieutenant colonel after 23 years of service to country with the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, retiring from Buckley in Denver, Colorado. He was a fighter pilot of F4s and F100s, undergoing two malfunctions and a tour in Vietnam. He met and married Marilyn, also a U.S. Air Force nurse. She too, served overseas, donning a parachute on her back hopping the pond on C130s for R&R. Gerald  fulfilled his retirement ranching in Dubois, Wyoming, from the 1950s to settling in Plains, Montana, in 1983, for reasons of milder winters.

Graveside services will be held in Fort Laramie, Wyoming.
