ACE info

meeting planned

There will be an ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences) presentation on Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Superior Ambulance Station. The movie Resilience will be shown during the second part of the presentation. This is a free event, open to the public. It is not for training purposes, but an informational meeting with discussions. For additional information contact Stephanie Quick at squick@wmmhc.org.

Holiday

concert

coming to LDS Church

Five Valley Chorus (Sweet Adelines) will perform a holiday themed concert on Dec. 15 from 7-9 pm at the LDS Church in Superior. Presented by the Mineral County Performing Arts Council.

Community center to host blood drive

Blood Drive are scheduled at the St. Regis Community Center and Alberton High School on Dec. 20.

Decorating contest is

citywide

St. Regis residents are welcome to participate in a Christmas decorating contest. If you decorate the outside of your home, let someone on the St. Regis Town Council know and cash prizes will be awarded for best decorations. Judging will take place on Dec. 22. Call John Cheeseman at (406) 280-0033 for information.

Sports briefs

Basketball:

Varsity St. Regis plays Charlo in St. Regis on Dec. 15 at 5:30 - 9 p.m. They are in Noxon on Dec. 17.

Varsity Clark Fork girl’s basketball travels to Wallace, ID on Dec. 15, the boys play at Superior at 4:30 pm.

Wrestling:

Clark Fork wrestling will be in Arlee on Dec. 15, and in Corvallis on Dec. 17 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Florence on Dec. 20.

School Christmas Concerts:

St. Regis at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19.

Alberton artshow and concert starting at 6 p.m. and concert at 7 on Dec. 20.

Superior Junior High and High School concert on Dec. 20 starting at 7 p.m.

Mineral County Schools Christmas breaks:

Alberton - Dec. 22 until Jan. 2; St. Regis - Dec. 23 until Jan.2; Superior – Dec. 22 until Jan. 2.
