Sandra Jane (Murdock) Domino, 75

Sandra Jane (Murdock) Domino passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at the age of 75 in Carson City, Nevada.

Sandy was born on Nov. 12, 1940, to Leland and Emma Murdock in Plains. Sandy attended grades 1-12 in Plains.

After high school, Sandy married Larry Roe and moved to Columbia Falls, Montana where they started a family. Sandy worked as a bookkeeper and cashier at the B&B Store in Columbia Falls. Sandy and Larry eventually divorced. In 1976, Sandy and her two children, Dawn and Kevin, relocated to southern California where she worked at Fullerton Hardware in Fullerton, California, and raised her two children to adulthood as a single parent. In 1984, Sandy returned to Plains to be closer to her parents and brother, as her mother’s health was quickly declining due to Alzheimer’s Disease. Not long after returning to Plains, Sandy met and married the love of her life, Ronald Domino, and moved to Libby and became a housewife. Ron and Sandy had been married for a little over 30 years when Ron’s 21-year battle with multiple forms of cancer came to an abrupt end in December 2014. After Ron’s death, Sandy moved to Reno, Nevada, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Jeff and Dawn Baldwin, until her death.

Sandy was preceded in death by two children, Ronnie Roe and Theresa Roe; her parents, Lee and Emma Murdock; and her husband, Ronald Domino.

Sandy is survived by daughter, Melanie Dawn Baldwin (Jeff) of Reno, Nevada; son, Kevin Roe (Michele) of Chino Hills, California; brother, Leland (Butch) Murdock of Plains; four grandchildren, Heather Crisp, Amanda Crisp, Bryan Roe and Brandon Roe; five great-grandchildren, Faith Smith, Jacob Smith, Gianna Smith, Jayden Bozeman and Elijah Bozeman; and cousins Lisa Moles and Candie Carlson, John and Barb Moles and Bill Moles.

Sandy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend. She is and she will be forever missed.

Memorial and interment services will be held in the spring of 2017. The date and details will be forthcoming in the spring of 2017.
