Dog messes left behind

I have a problem! Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not an animal hater. I’m more of a people person.

Here’s the problem. I don’t own a dog, but my yard seems to be considered a dog rest stop. I wouldn’t even mind that so much IF (and that’s a big, capital IF) the owner of the dog or dogs would bring along a pooper-scooper or glove bag or whatever they use to remove old Spot’s load when they move on.

Now, I see people drive into town, stop at some beautiful mowed lawn, get out of the car with their little (or big) substitute baby and lead it over to some beautiful spot, and then stand there until Fido dumps his or her load. Then they calmly walk to their car and drive away. They think that’s fine! I don’t! Come on people! Try to think!
