Thompson Falls, Hot Springs, Plains boys notch victories

Danny Hoisington poured in 32 points and Thompson Falls ran away to a 63-39 win against Troy in District 7B action on Thursday.

McKenzie Holt joined Hoisington in double-figures with 10 points for the Blue Hawks. Thompson Falls led 32-19 at halftime.

Tucker Winn led the Trojans with 11 points.

The Trotters erased a five-point halftime deficit to pick up a road win last Tuesday.

Arlee led 30-25 after two quarters, but Plains won the third 25-17 and held on in a high-scoring fourth quarter.

Jay Von Heeder led Plains with 23 points and Ryan Ovitt added 21.

Alree’s Philip Malatare led all scorers with 25 points.

Trevor Paro scored 33 points and the Savage Heat scored 38 second-half points to come from behind and down St. Ignatius last Monday.

Hot Springs trailed 25-19 at the break but outscored St. Ignatius 38-26 in the second half, including a 17-8 margin in the third quarter.

Isaac Alexander scored 16 points and Wacey McClure added 15 in a losing effort.

Trevor Paro capped a monster week with 43 points to nearly single-handedly carry the Savage Heat to a win on Thursday.

Paro scored 76 points in two games last week and was the only Hot Springs player to score more than six points against Valley Christian.

Zach Baugher finished with 29 points in the loss.

Four Trojans scored in double-figures to lead Troy to a District 7B conference win Thursday.

Alyssa Lewis and Allie Coldwell each scored 13 points for the Trojans, with Allie Brown adding 11 and Aurora Becquart 10.

Ember Schwindt led the Blue Hawks with 14 points. Gillian Nelson chipped in 10 more.

Carly Hergett scored 17 points to help Arlee come out on top in a defensive struggle last Tuesday.

The two teams combined for 27 first-quarter points but added only 43 the rest of the game.

Jessica Thompson led Plains with eight points, and Lindsey Laws and Rachel Huenik added six apiece.

Nellie Desjarais joined Hergett in double-figures with 10 for Arlee.

Karly Lawson scored 16 points and McKenzie Cannon added 12 to lead the Savage Heat to a win last Monday.

Hot Springs bounded out to an 18-10 lead after one quarter but saw St. Ignatius charge right back to cut the lead to one at halftime. The Savage Heat held St. Ignatius to four third-quarter points, however, and began to pull away.

Karolyna Buck scored 10 points to pace St. Ingatius.

Lawson finished with 15 points and was one of only two players in the game to score more than six points.

Charlo outscored the Red Devils 12-1 in the overtime period to earn a hard-fought victory.

Noxon took a 10-point lead into the fourth quarter but was out-pointed 26-5 the rest of the way.

Cheyenne Nagy led Charlo with a game-high 29 points.

Kamber Torti paced Noxon with 17.
