TROUT CREEK – Cards, betting and extreme snow sports will merge, this Saturday, during the Cabinet Ridge Riders’ 25th annual poker run.

The poker run starts at 8:30 am when snowmobilers will race off to different stations along a route; at each station, participants will play a hand of poker and the best accumulation of hands at the end wins.

Each hand will have a minimum opening bid of $5, but no limit is set for how high pots can go. The last hands must be drawn by 5 pm, then the poker games close out.

There will also be an auction and a raffle for prizes during the event. Those who enter will have the chance to win ammunition, guns and a variety of other items. The auction and raffle will start at 7 pm.

According to information provided by the CRR, there will be free food and drinks for participants to enjoy at warming huts along the route.
