Hot Springs: 31. St. Regis: 50

HOT SPRINGS – In one of their final games of the regular season, the Lady Savage Heat came out behind in their game against St. Regis with a final score of 31-50.

The game started close with both teams playing hard. The first quarter closed with a close score of 8-7. However, in the second quarter the Lady Tigers burst out ahead and broke through the Hot Springs defense. The Lady Savage Heat played hard, but could not keep up and the half ended with a score of 13-24.

As the second half opened, Hot Springs opened strong and pushed their score up. St. Regis was also playing strong and was able to keep up to their lead. The third quarter closed with a score of 23-33. The final quarter saw the Lady Tigers leap ahead again as they pressed past the defenders and twice as many points as the Hot Springs girls. The game came to a close with the teams preparing for the first rounds of the district tournament this week.
