Savage Heat: 71, Tigers: 24

HOT SPRINGS – In their final game of the season, the Hot Springs Savage Heat came out on top against the St. Regis Tigers with a final score of 71-24.

Hot Springs gained a strong lead early in the game. By the end of the first quarter they had a 20-point lead over the Tigers, keeping them under a double-digit score. The second quarter saw a similar performance, as the Savage Heat blew past the St. Regis defense while keeping them away from the net. The first half came to a close with a score of 48-11 to Hot Springs.

The Savage Heat advance did not slow after halftime as the guys continued to push their attack. Again, the Tigers were kept back and they only gained a few more points, ending the third quarter with a score of 65-16. In the final quarter, Hot Springs pulled back and focused more on keeping St, Regis from gaining more points. Their defenders kept the other team under 10 points again, setting the boys up to prepare for the district tournaments this week.

Trevor Paro led the team, scoring 25 points. Zach Osborne was right behind him with 14 points of his own.
