Last games of the year a disappointment for the Tigers

The St. Regis Tigers were dealt a loss to Arlee at the Dec. 22 game with a final score of 93-28.  Arlee came out strong in the first quarter with a 16-9 lead. They put up another 33 points in the second quarter, to the Tiger’s 12.  The final two quarters sealed the Tigers fate with an additional 44 points to the Tiger’s seven.  

Brock Cantrell-Field lead the Tigers with 15 points, followed by Trevor Lowry with 10, Eric Eslick had two and Ryan Teeter scored one.

Arlee’s high scorer for the evening was Justis Haynes with 19, followed by Tyler Tanner with 18, Patrick BigSam and Philip Malatare both with 16, Aaron Perry 14, Brad Brazil six and Isaac Desjarlais four.

The Lady Tigers played Arlee on December 22 in St. Regis. The Scarlets took an early lead putting 21 points on the board, to the Tiger’s three. They put another 21 up in the second quarter, 10 in the third and only three in the final quarter, winning over the Tigers 55-18.  Madison Hill was the Lady Tigers high scorer with 11 points.  Madison Kelly, Emma Hill and Kylie Thompson all put up two, and Courtney Cheesman scored one.

Arlee’s Alyssia Vanderburg lead the team with 22 points, followed by Bryndle Goyins with 10. Both Abby Yocum and Megan Shick have two.  Becca Whitesell had seven, Carly Hergett had eight and Morgan Malatare scored four.
