St. Regis Tigers took on the Savage Heat in Hot Springs on Thursday evening with a good night for the Lady Tiger, who stepped onto the court and quickly put 25 points on the board in the first quarter to the Heat’s eight. By the second quarter, the ladies put up another 17 points, putting them at a solid lead of 42-14 over the Heat. By the third quarter, the Heat was left in the dust as the Tigers continued to pound their way down the court to a 52-22 lead. A final 15 points to the Heat’s 13 in the final quarter gave the Tigers a 67-35 victory with Madison Hill high scorer with 23 points.

The evening wasn’t as good for the boys, as they fell behind Hot Springs in the first quarter with a 11-18 shortfall. In the second quarter, they put another 10 points on the board but the Heat managed 17, with a half time score of 21-35. In the third quarter, the Heat added another 24 points to the Tigers 14, making it 35-59. In the fourth, the teams went head-to-head with 10 points for the Tigers and 11 for the Heat. But it wasn’t enough to catch the Heat, and the Tigers lose 80-45. Team high scorer was Brock Cantrell-Field with 19.
