April 27 court report
Court was held in Mineral County on April 27 with Judge Karen Townsend presiding. During the session:
Kevin Clarence Bell’s previous sentence was revoked due to probation violations. He was originally charged with the use of meth and was on supervised release. However, on March 14 he failed a drug test and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections, with 48 days given as credit for time served.
Rebecca Cheyenne Green was sentenced on charges of the use of dangerous drugs. She was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and was ordered to remain in custody until she can receive treatment at Elkhorn treatment facility.
Samuel Leroy Pearson II pleaded “not guilty” to charges of theft. He requested to be released to Post Falls for pretrial supervision in order to go back to Idaho. His request was accepted contingent on Post Falls accepting him.
Dale McMillan was in court on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. He requested to be released on pretrial supervision due to health issues and be allowed to return to Libby, Montana. His request was approved.
Richard Miller pleaded “guilty” to charges of sexual abuse of children and tampering with evidence. On June 24, 2015 he was arrested for possession of visual media containing sexual conduct with a minor. He then tried to destroy the computer that contained the pornography. With his guilty plea, there will be a psychological investigation on August 10. He was given a supervised release.
